Jack Layton was always fighting for the arts in Canada, just as his son Mike now does on our city council . Regardless of politics, we can all agree that Jack was a brave and passionate man that truly cared about our country. Truly sad day. 1950-2011.

DEER BLN PROJECT Show

A new work by Juliana Neufeld . A bunch of us at Akin will be in an international group show titled DeerBLNproject displaying works centered around the word ‘deer’. The show opens in Bordeaux, France this fall and was organized by our old Berlin pal Christian Rothenhagen.

With some of that money you buy a bunch of paintings Adolf Hitler did during his youth.

Then, you add rainbows and hearts to all of them.
