You are invited to Play the Walk – a neighborhood project for curious citizens.
Play the Walk is a story of a neighbourhood played out and retold by those who explore it. Participants are encouraged to explore the newly shaped and coming neighbourhood of the West Queen West Triangle by means of a map and a game to navigate, discover and play. A series of signs suggest ways to interact with the environment: one invites you to listen to the sounds of trains passing by, another denotes a particular smell that a building exudes through its pipes. If you bring your lunch, you can picnic at hidden and cozy places along the way after planting a seed at your favourite spot in the Triangle. This project will be launched during Grow Op, Gladstone Hotel’s inaugural event happening April 25-28, 2013.
Starting point: The Gladstone Hotel
April 25 - 28, 2013
